DIG Deeper: Unconscious Bias - Recognition and Mitigation

  • DIG Furniture Bank 14 Elm Street Milton, PA, 17847 United States (map)

As a young organization, DIG has an opportunity and recognized responsibility to shape a culture based on a foundation honoring diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). With funding from The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP), we are able to engage experts and representatives in conversations surrounding a wide array of topics that will foster an inclusive environment for residents of the Greater Susquehanna Valley region.

DIG Deeper is a 12-month series of workshops open to active DIG staff, volunteers, and committed monthly financial donors.

About this event:

In honor of Women’s History Month, we’ll be welcoming Dr. Courtney Goettel, MD, of UPMC Family Medicine Residency, Williamsport, to engage us in a conversation about preventing implicit bias while working with a wide variety of clientele in public settings.

We’ll be offering this workshop in a hybrid format, meaning that you can join us in-person at DIG (14 Elm Street, Milton) or tune in from the comfort of home via Zoom (Source link below).

This event is only open to DIG volunteers, staff, and monthly donors. Registration is required. Please click here to register.
