housewarming baskets supply new homes with essential cleaning and home care items

When supplies allow, DIG includes a Housewarming Basket with each delivery.

To many people, household staples like dish soap, sponges, and laundry detergent can be easily budgeted into a weekly grocery store trip, but to families with limited income, it’s not always so easy. For example, SNAP does not cover these important hygiene and cleaning products. By providing these products, families can properly clean their new-to-them linens, dishes, and more before they put them to use.

When supplies are available, a housewarming basket will be included with each DIG delivery. Baskets include essentials that will help our families start over after crisis with dignity. Items for these baskets can be included with any scheduled donation drop-off.
