regular opportunities

Our regular volunteers help with everything from guiding clients through the showroom to sorting donations and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. These roles are essential to our mission—and we rely on them every day.

With a wide range of tasks and flexible shifts, there’s a place for every skill set and personality. If you’re ready to make a consistent impact, we’d love to have you on the team!

DIG’s regular volunteers are the heart of our day-to-day work

our regular positions

  • Love connecting with people? Our Personal Shopper volunteers play a key front-facing role by working directly with the families we serve. Shifts include guiding clients through our showroom to select furniture and essentials, or shopping on their behalf using a detailed preference sheet. Personal Shoppers also help pack up items and prepare them for pick-up or delivery. It’s a rewarding way to support clients with care, dignity, and a personal touch.

  • Prefer to work behind the scenes? Showroom Assistants help keep our space clean, organized, and full of great items for the families we serve. It’s a vital, back-of-house role that ensures our clients have a welcoming, dignified space to shop in.
